It's a printing process using special ink and paper to transfer images onto products using a heat press.

First we take an image we want to use.

If you don't your subject might wind up being a quarter inch tall when shrunk to fit on a 3 x3 inch mug.

For text image make sure they are printed mirrored.

I usually set it at about 375 degrees for most printing.
